A Learning Experience

This has sure been a learning experience. I began knowing nothing about creating web sites, HTML language and all the other esoteric things needed to create a blog. We started out with Bizland.com and they have a nifty program that you can use to create a web page. Even me as a begining web bitch was able to cobble something together. Well, I soon realized that I needed to add trackbacks and comment ability to the Dumbplumber.com. Realizing that would take some knowledge and going the easy way I opened an account with Blogger for the Dumbplumber......Well then I realize I have to double post so both sites are up to date.

This is becoming NOT fun. Soooo. I bought a couple of books, learned HTML (sort of) and decided that I would create a blog from sratch, use the Bizland site because it has much more capability and I can have layers of pages instead of just a blog. The downside of Bizland is that the nifty archiving system built into Blogger doesn't exist. Sooooo......now I need to learn how to archive the posts and keep the trackback capability. This is really becoming more like a job and I already have one!!!! Oh well, in that spirit I am now attempting to set up a trackback to one of the Blogger posts of the dumbplumber. Or maybe for this post on DumbPlumber.Com

If this crap all works and the bottom falls out of the stock market with the next hurricane, maybe I'll change careers and become a professional Web Bitch.
